Wed. night took a turn for the worst. Elder Stevens and I were walking home from Springbrook the ZL's were at a meeting like every wed. night. We were making the normal walk that we have made 100's of times, but this time was different. We were walking across the bridge that goes over the freeway and came to a freeway entrance, well there is a sign that says pedestrians cross on green. The light was green and we looked up and the car in front of us waved us on to cross... well a car didn't even bother to check his surroundings and just went to enter the freeway as we crossed. I do not remember much, I remember that my right shoulder and my right leg took every bit of beating. I never felt my left side hit anything, never felt my head hit the ground, and my head felt as if someone was holding it in one spot. It never moved, was God watching over me? How about heck yes!!! We were taken in the ambulance to the ER, Elder Stevens ended up with a broken elbow and some bruising I ended up with a dislocated shoulder and a leg injury that I will talk more about later. Thurs. morning they set my shoulder back into place at like 3 in the morning. I got home about 4ish in the am. I basically sat around and did nothing all day until Sun. I went to church, went to Sis. Blatters b-day party and was out and about. Today is Monday, I found out about an hour ago, I have torn muscles in my shoulder and some sort of nerve damage in the shoulder. They think that I tore my ACL and 2 other muscles in my leg so we will wait and see until I get a MRI done. The doctor said there is a very high chance of surgery and a very long recovery time because I have 2 severe injuries. That is the update on me for now. I love you all so much!!!! Nobody worry!!! I am in the Lords hands. I am going to be alright!!!
