Hey there family and friends!!!!
Elder Kunz reporting on the greatest week ever!!!!!!!
Monday: We spent most of the day in Sequim for our zone activity. Then after that we went caroling with our District again and it was lots of fun! Never thought I would have fun singing Christmas carols... But it was fun! Then we drove 3 hours all the way to Tacoma and stayed the night in a MANSION!!! Not really a mansion but we call it that because it isn't an apartment but a real house haha. It was super fun! There were 12 missionaries crammed into that house but it was so much fun! We just talked and visited with the AP's and the OE's (Office Elders) and the Tacoma West ZL's. We just sat around talking and hanging out!
Tuesday: It was the Mission Christmas party. Talk about crazy!!! I have never seen people sing Jingle Bells with such energy! It was soooo LOUD!!!! But extremely fun!!! We did a white elephant christmas game and guess what I got... You will never guess it! A Toyota Hubcap!!!! The most pointless thing ever! But I love it haha. I also got my Christmas gifts!!!!!!!! From my amazing Parents and Grandparents!!! It was awesome!!!! We also did our skit in front of the mission! Hopefully the mission put it on their blog because it was hilarious!!! So much fun!! Then we had a devotional to end the night on Jesus Christ and how he is the gift of Christmas! Which is very true! I know without Jesus Christ I don't have the blessings I have in my life today! I don't know what I would do without any of you guys!!! I love you sooooo much!!!
Wednesday: We drove to PA on Wednesday night and stayed the night at the Zone Leaders house. WE then had zone meeting at our Stake presidents house and that was a good time! the whole Zone together having fun! It was great! We then went caroling as a zone since it was Christmas Eve and all and had a blast! We then drove back to Forks and went to a Christmas Party that one of our investigators invited us to. It was good to spend Christmas with someone haha it is definitely not the same without family! So it was good not be just the two of us!
Thursday: Oh What A DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Christmas day!! We went to PA to open gifts as a district but I could only focus on one thing!!! Skyping with my family and Jessica!!!!! I was soooo excited to see them even though I have only been out a month and a half I still missed them like crazy!! That was all I could think about haha. We got to the Ponton's house and then Sis. Ponton was like your parents (Mom) keeps texting me "Is ben there yet Is ben there yet" and I was like oh boy! It was so funny!! Then I got to skype!!!!! Best Christmas Gift Ever!! Seeing everyone I love sooo Much in one place (yes! Including my sister in Chicago I count that she was there in the room haha). It was the greatest gift I could've got! That was the highlight of my day! A Fantastic Christmas gift I would say!!!!!
Friday: We walked all day today. We Are running low on miles... Again... It wasn't the most productive day, but from what we did teach and the people that we did see, we taught good things! So I was pretty proud of what we did on Friday. But it wasn't much, because it takes forever to get anywhere in forks when you walk haha.
Saturday: Today was an alright day, we thought we were going to have an amazing lesson with Shayla and Adrian today, but it was cancelled... but we moved it to Sunday night! So we still got to teach them!! Same thing as Friday, wasn't very productive, but our knocking session and our OYM's were really good and we taught really good things!
Sunday: No one at church again): It is super difficult to get people to church and it gets really frustrating at times. I know that it takes time for these things to happen. Elder Larson wants to put a date on everything for people and Preach My Gospel says invite people to be baptized every chance you get, but I am not the pushy type. I want time to work out and you want them to know that what we are teaching is true, but Elder Larson likes to rush a lot of things and get people baptized and everything it is just difficult because he is doing what Preach My Gospel is telling him to do, I just think that it shouldn't be every time! I think that when the time is right then you ask! But that is just me! We had a great lesson with Shayla and Adrian though and Adrian seemed really into it! We definitely touched his heart on the Plan of Salvation.
Well that was my week! I can finally do laundry!!!! I am so happy!!!! I hate dirty clothes haha I can't wait to have clean ones!! I love you! And I miss you all! But I have no worries! You'll be okay! I have faith in the Lord that he will bless you all and bless me and that noting bad will happen! Lord first, everything else second for these two years! It definitely makes things easier! I love you all so much!
Much Love,
